Where the game excels is in its vehicles. Unlike games like Besiege , where you could easily determine where each block was located in a customized vehicle, the machines you can build in TerraTech are easy on the eyes and are also a blast to control. The base building aspect of the game still needs some work, particularly when it comes to the camera.
In a videogame where base building is an integral part of survival, you better be able to do it as hassle-free as possible. Also available are co-op modes, Death Match, and Sumo modes. Sumo is one of the most exciting game modes of the bunch, as it plays similarly to real-life BatteBots fights.

The intergalactic mining industry is a profitable one, but you are not the only miner in search for new worlds to exploit.
Defending yourself from rival miners will take time, resources and skill, with success leading to new territory and new lands.
All equipable blocks and items can be damaged or destroyed, so ensuring you are sufficiently armed and ready for battle is a key element of both survival and prosperity in TerraTech. By gathering and processing natural resources, players are able to construct storage, refining and construction bases in order to craft new blocks in the game.
Like the look of that Venture Hail Fire Rifle that just tore your vehicle apart? Go prospecting for the needed resources. The worlds in TerraTech are procedurally generated and infinite, so there are always new lands to discover and more resources to find.
Treacherous mountain ranges, luscious grasslands and huge deserts are among the biomes you will encounter. More will be added as development progresses. Using the building blocks, guns, wheels, and wings from several Mining Corporations, you can build varied Techs to suit every purpose.
Be it powerful armoured combat vehicles, unstoppable resource gathering machines, sprawling resource processing bases or a hybrid of all three — creativity is your key to exo-planetary success. Team up with other intrepid prospectors in Co-op Campaign, build and create together in Co-op Creative, go head-to-head for glory in the Deathmatch Arena or battle for supremacy in Sumo.
All exo-planetary prospectors buy parts from the established Mining Corporations, where each have their own specific brand of mining technology. Get the job done with GSO, strip-mine to the max with the heavy-duty GeoCorp, zoom around with high-performance recon specialists Venture, function with military efficiency utilising the stealth focused Hawkeye or gain technological superiority with Enviro-giants Better Future.
How you build your vehicles is up to you. Make them fly to get away from danger or make them fast to avoid danger or make them slow and powerful so they may take other players on without backing down. There are similar games where you may build your own vehicles in whichever manner you wish but there are few that are this well polished and this well executed.
TerraTech has taken the MineCraft premise of open-world building and applied it to vehicles. There are other games out there that are similar to TerraTech but few of them are as consummate as this game few are as graphically pleasing and few have as many building options.
As the game is updated and more downloadable content is created you should expect to see more and more imaginative vehicle builds. In the distant future, Earth's natural resources have been depleted, and as an off-world prospector it's your job to travel to alien planets and scour them for valuable materials.
These can be refined and shipped back to Earth in return for cash, or crafted into new components to augment your fleet. The rarest resources unlock the best equipment, so expand your territory and capture enemy bases, to secure your position on each planet.
Build crazy vehicles out of modular blocks! Hunt down enemies, shoot parts off them and scavenge the remains, to make your vehicle harder, better, stronger and faster.
