Delete that AndroidPlayer folder. You will need to be a User with Admin rights, and this is probably why Unity fails on uninstall, it has no permission to delete the folder. I had the same problem now that I reseted my PC, and reinstalled the whole system new, this started to happen in Unity, At this point, I can only assume that this happens on a fresh system installation, and that could be why there aren't many answers about this on the net, or even Unity team not finding it out after all this time and fix it.
